My professional interest is in knowledge transfer and especially in science communication. I do not see this as a one-way street, but as a dialogue at eye level. Science communication focuses on transparency and should, on the one hand, help to transfer scientific findings to society, politics and business. On the other hand, it should help to bring societal issues and problems into the realm of science.
