Independent Junior Research Groups

The institute establishes independent junior research groups to promote talented early career scientists and to strengthen the international scientific reputation of the institute.

The Leibniz-LSB@TUM gives talented early career scientists and group leaders who obtained competitive funding for their own positions (e.g. from AvH, BMBF, DFG, ERC/EU) the option to use the competitive infrastructure, unique research equipment and collaboration opportunities. The institute also supports early career scientists with staff and financial resources.
