Organization

The Board of Directors manages the LSB. It consists of the Scientific Director and the Administrative Director. The position of Scientific Director has not yet been filled.

Ms. Astrid Fischer is responsible for a professionally managed financial and administrative area of Leibniz-LSB@TUM as Administrative Director from December 1, 2024.

The newly organized Leibniz-LSB@TUM consists of three research sections and three technology units. The research sections collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects, while the technology units contribute to the success of central research projects.

In addition, the Institute will also support the work of Independent Research Group Leaders through close integration in the cutting-edge infrastructure, including financial, technical, and staff support.

A special focus is also placed on knowledge and technology transfer.
