Preamble
The members of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Citizens' Assembly "Nutrition in Transition" were appointed by the parliamentary groups represented in the German Bundestag. The composition of the Scientific Advisory Board is heterogeneous, i.e. scientists have different positions and core disciplines that provide a pluralistic view of the subject matter. To our knowledge, the parliamentary groups have not influenced the positions of the scientists they have appointed or have not contacted the scientists. The same applies to the responsible Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). The Advisory Board accompanied the Citizens' Assembly and the process in an honorary capacity.
In the following, the undersigned members comment briefly on the process and the results.
